Venues and Pitches

    Murdoch University Melville FC is fortunate to have access to three separate quality playing grounds, providing excellent match day and training facilities. Still retaining our iconic grounds at Len Shearer and Winthrop Park, the addition of the Murdoch University synthetic pitches provides a year-round home of football for our Club affording off-season programs and access not typically available on City-owned grass pitches.

    Murdoch University Playing Fields, Discovery Way, Murdoch.

    These first-class facilities include two state of the art synthetic football pitches and two grass pitches.  Amenities include flood lighting, changing rooms, spectator seating and kiosk.

    The synthetic pitches are designated Pitch A and Pitch B, whilst the grass pitches are Pitch C and D.  For Ground Use Code of Conduct at the synthetic pitches Click Here

    Len Shearer Reserve, Marcus Avenue, Booragoon.

    MUMFC’s traditional home has four grass pitches designated A, B, C and D.  Facilities include flood lighting, Club room, changing rooms and canteen.

    Pitch B is split into two smaller pitches for Miniroos Sunday matches.

    Winthrop Reserve, Winthrop Drive, Winthrop.

    We occupy three pitches at Winthrop Reserve, also known as Winthrop Park, designated A, B and C. 

    Facilities include flood lighting, changing rooms and children’s play area.
