At MUMFC we are very proud to be supporting 15 female teams that provide a complete pathway from mini footballers to junior girls, women and NPLW competitions. The unprecedented growth at our club in the last two years and since the WWC, has not been without pain as the club works hard to keep on top of the growth! MUMFC volunteers have worked tirelessly to provide more and more resources to this space and improve the framework to allow girls and women to grow and be safe as members of our club and community.
Some of the partners and programmes MUMFC have implemented to facilitate safe spaces and create opportunities for leadership and development for female football include Fernwood Fitness for female only fitness sessions and winter programmes, Gaining Ground to educate players about mental well being, Perth Glory for coaching education and some extra fun, Goal keeping training by Miranda Templeman, which aimed at upskilling our teenage keepers and then those teenage keepers training the primary school aged keepers, Football West on line and in person events at the State Football Centre, through the Women In Football Leadership Programme and Club Changer education programme, which aims to enhance clubs compliances, resilience, inclusivity and help make them stronger.
In 2025 the club set up Age Coordinators in the female football pathway for the very first time and engaged an Operational Manager for the NPLW space to support the coaching team and player movement in the 18-first team pathway.
MUMFC welcome volunteers to work in this space to help our families, create pathways for young stars and build mateship for life.
