Key Notes:
1) All players (including existing MUMFC JNPL players) are required to submit an expression of interest form and trial.

2) Trials are by invitation only.

3) Players are required to trial initially in their correct age group unless approved by the Technical Director

4) Invited non-MUMFC players will be required to pay a $100 deposit prior to trial. If the applicant is successful in gaining a place in the squad, this will be deducted from the fees. If unsuccessful, the money will be refunded in full. No-shows or players who get offered a spot in the squad but do not accept will forfeit the deposit.

5) Additionally in 2022 we commenced our Goal Keeper Academy for our U13 to U16s teams. These goalkeepers were selected during the JNPL trails and were selected for our JNPL, Division 1 and Division 2 teams. These keepers train with their JNPL age group as well as in the specialised keeper group training which is provided by the club. The aim of the Goalkeeper Academy is to ensure players are given playing time each weekend.

We are proud to share that the club has installed Melville’s first Free Sports Library on Len Shearer Reserve today. We will be stocking it with used balls, allowing anyone in the community to play football, whenever they are in area. We hope you love the opportunity to play sports with friends! Special thanks to: Fremantle Men Shed for helping make our library box;Bunnings Melville for donating paint and concrete; Playmaster Pty Ltd for making, powder-coating and donating the post; and Cornelia and her family for organising this project and installing the Sports Library!
